The Dewey Decimal Classification is a proprietary system of library classification developed by Melvil Dewey in 1876. This system organizes books on library shelves in a specific and repeatable order that makes it easy to find any book and return it to its proper place. is an experimental space for linked DDC data. The initial data set available is a linked data version of the DDC Summaries in ten languages. The intention of the prototype is to be a platform for Dewey data on the Web.
